Who are we?

The Global Transfer Services Ltd makes available for the internet users, direct clients and agents, data and services offered by collaborating parties. Through this reservation system the end user can book and pay for his/her transfer to the available destinations around the globe. The collected information is managed by the data protection officer who can be contacted via the online contact form at any time.

What information do we collect?

The reservation system requires the minimum personal information necessary to provide the booked service. This includes the name, email and telephone of the lead passenger. This information is collected entirely via the online web booking form, by the client or by an affiliated company. We never collect sensitive personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation. If a booking is received via a third party channel such as an affiliated website, a copy of the voucher is sent as a proof of the order. The credit card information is never stored. It is securely transmitted to our third party payment gateways.

How do we use personal information?

We use the name, email and optional telephone number solely for the purposes of providing the service. The driver who delivers the service receives the name and phone number in order to prepare the sign and locate the client at the designated area. Email addresses and telephones might be in-house used for possible amendments or cancellations. Upon service delivery, the client might be contacted to provide feedback for the received service.

What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?

The lawfulness of processing the personal information is derived by the given consent of the client for the purpose of delivering the ordered service. The client can contact at any time and request a cancellation and removal of this personal information. They may also request a modification. This information is the absolute minimum needed to provide the service.

When do we share personal data?

The driver who delivers the service receives the name and phone number in order to prepare the sign and locate the client at the designated area. A copy of the voucher might be sent to the ordering channel e.g. travel agency.

Where do we store and process personal data?

We only store and process personal data in our in-house private servers. These servers are never accessed via third-party companies. The servers might be located outside the E.U.

How do we secure personal data?

We use all necessary means to prevent unauthorised access, use, destruction or disclosure such as firewalls and pci compliance. Data backups are used to protect against accidental loss, ensure business continuity and disaster recovery. Our staff is trained to handle data security. Special data security contracts are agreed with the service delivering party.

How long do we keep your personal data for?

We will keep this personal data for up to 36 months upon service delivery, in order to cover possible client requests such as invoice copy, in-house analysis and optimization of our services. After this period, any personal data will be deleted from all storages and hard backups. As an exception, personal information will be publicized to Public Authorities i.e court of law upon court order.

Your rights in relation to personal data

During this period the client has the right to access and control their personal data in respect of :

  • access to personal information
  • correction and deletion
  • data portability
  • restriction of processing and objection
  • lodging a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office
by contacting us through the contact page form. A reply in the form of email will be sent to the client. In case of a court order, the client will not be able to manage the personal details until further notice from the court.

Use of automated decision-making and profiling

We do not use profiling or other automated decision-making tools.

We do not store or manage user preferences on our websites. Cookies are used in cases of affiliated travel agencies and in-house analysis using g analytics.
